Research

Our MISSION is to ensure the highest quality relationships in healthcare for people affected by serious illness - patients, caregivers, and clinicians.

 

CERES is based at the Research Institute of the McGill University Health Centre in Montréal, Canada. Our multidisciplinary team uses mixed-methods and implementation science to understand and promote intrapersonal, interpersonal, and system-level interventions to promote authentic healing relationships in the context of serious illness.

Assessing Urban Community-Based Palliative Care in Montreal: Identifying Gaps and Opportunities for Quality Improvement

This study was a cross-sectional survey with healthcare workers to assess structures and processes related to community-based palliative care team composition, care access and provision, care continuity, and care transitions.
