Presentations at the RI-MUHC Cancer Research Program's Research Day 2026

On May 26, 2026, the CERES Lab took part in Cancer Research Program Day at the Research Institute of the McGill University Health Centre. Kajamathy Subramaniam delivered a 12‑minute oral presentation on Biomusic, a novel technology-supported intervention designed to promote connection between unconscious individuals at the end of life and their caregivers. Georgina Cama Lee presented a lightning talk entitled 'Advancing Cancer Care Equity through Social Determinants Screening and Supportive Care (ACCESS) Prospective Study'. Rachael Harper presented a poster entitled 'Examining the Barriers and Facilitators of Implementing the Feeling Heard and Understood Scale in Cancer Care', and received the award for best poster presentation. We are proud of our CERES Lab members showcase of research focused on psychosocial interventions and improving patient experience, outcomes, and overall quality of life for people affected by cancer.
